- The truck is an 2000 Ford Ranger XLT with the 4.0L ohv V6 enigne. It has 114,XXX miles and is running strong. I purchased it from a dealer about a month ago, and it had a terrible miss in it. I easily fixed that with a tune up, oil change, and a bottle of Seafoam( i live by the stuff). It's a quick little truck with 160 hp and 220 ft/lbs of torque, and will shred tires all day..Sadly it is completely stock at the moment, but i'm gonna change that. Here are some of my ideas..
Engine- Cold air intake(prob a k&n,or AEM),66mm throttle body,a new intake manifold too! i'm tired of that plastic crap, bigger injectors, fuel rail, aircraft braided fuel and breather line/hoses,fuel pump, optima battery, prob some jba headeres, cat delete and a turn down exhaust, header wrap, NGK plugs, wires, aftermarket coil pack, pulleys, electric fan conversion, electric water and p/s pump, ecu programmer, ya know just the basics.
Interior-Bride seats with a 5 point harness, custom hidden cage, 15% tint, prob a pioneer head unit with speakers to match, pedals, momo steering wheel, gauges, gauges, gauges, dash lighting, colored bulbs, nothing to fancy.
i know i'm forgetting some things.. but i left my dreams of a whipple supercharger and a but-load of engine internals out of it. Shoot, i'm on a budget haha. But i'm gonna take care of the little stuff first. I already have my catalogs stacked up. Time to crack em'open. Thanks for reading, and more updates, pics and vids coming soon!!
